Our Reservation Policy

Monopole accepts limited bookings. We book up to half of the restaurant and leave the rest for walk ins.

For bookings of 5 or more we require credit card details to secure the reservation. If you fail to arrive for your booking or cancel less than 48 hours prior to your reservation a cancellation fee may apply.

Groups of 7 or more are required to select our $70 set 'Monopole' menu. For tables booked at 6:00 or 6:30 pm we will require the table back by 8:15pm.


The Good Food Guide Awards for 2019 were held on Monday evening at Crown Casino in Melbourne. Monopole was awarded two of the highly coveted hats.

GQ have released their list of ‘Sydney’s Best Bars’.

Monopole + Embla Collaboration

Join us as we host award winning Melbourne restaurant EMBLA for an evening of collaborative food & wine, Sunday 15th October.

In 2016, Embla took out Timeout Melbourne’s ‘Best New Restaurant’ and ‘Best Casual Dining Restaurant’ awards. Sitting pretty at #6 on the AFR Top 100 Restaurants list, The Australian likened their chefs to “bushrangers at work in the kitchen”. New Zealand Executive Chef Dave Verheul has travelled the world and back, through the swinging doors of The Savoy Grill, The Fat Duck, The Bentley and the Matterhorn, honing his classic training in the process.
